call me crazy....but at about the 11:00 minute mark in 2nd half, I may of blinked, but I would bet money the scorekeeper did not give Prince his (1) of his (2) made FT.. I thought we were down (8) points at that point and he makes (2) FT and then (2) more points shortly after to put us down by (4) but the scoreboard says (5) differential.. maybe I missed something as I am sure someone would have noticed.

i really hope this is just sulking by our fans. Because all I am seeing so far is bashing of Steven DO NOT blame this game on him. He is not out there to score, we all know that. But he isn't worthless either. Stay off of the guy, this loss could be blamed on a number of players. We played well all tournament. All things must eventually come to an end. Awful way to lose, but suck it up and accept it.

right; cause if he makes that second one, all it changes is that the MSU guy makes the 2nd free throw rather than missing it so that we have to go full court, so we still lose by 1

Guys.....in the end.....we made a historic Tennessee run. We actually had a chance to be here praying, and crying, and yelling, and screaming, and watching this team play at the end of the month of March. Our "football" school just went to the Elite 8 and a lot of us were expecting a one & done performance.

It's time to just say thank you to Wayne Chism and J.P. Prince and Bobby Maze because they did leave it all out there on the floor in what is their last game.

There's no excuse for guys not being able to make free throws. Shooting an air ball is inexcusable.

What really hurt us was the no-call on Maze when he was hacked and the ball went over the backboard. That should have been 2 free throws for us, but instead it was Michigan State's possession. I don't want to wine about the refs, but that call really, really cost us.

if he made the second one we would have been able to get back on D.. not blaming anything on him though.. great season boys.. im heartbroken

I go back to my statement from a month ago . . . blaming Stephen Pearl is like getting hit by a bus and blaming your shirt for not cushioning the blow. His 10 minutes just didn't make or break us.

Izzo is just a better coach. He shut us down on the inside and no other team could do that in this bracket. Pearl screwed up when he kept Brian Williams on the court with 5 minutes to go and he had nothing left in the tank. Poor substitution pattern finally came back to bite him.

WHAT? they smothered Chism and Brian was the only thing we had inside ..... he kept us in the game and we had no shot without Him inside... He may have been winded, but he was all we had

we lost 3 players to transfer/expelled/heart problems at the beginning of the season and our leading scorer in january. We've played everyone, but noone said the depth is great

we also lost 2 5 stars a year or two back to drug problems....and oddly enough again heart problems
