This is one of my all-time favorite Vol teams. Sad our season is over, but proud of the way the guys played. Considering the way our bracket looked on selection Sunday, I don't see how any of us can be too upset with the way our year ended.

I'm Proud to be a VOL fan today, they fought hard. Congrats to the Vols on a terrific season.

Not what we wanted at the end, but our guys made the Elite Eight and we've got some great players and some more coming in. The future is bright getting over the hump this year.

We are proud of what you accomplished under difficult circmstances!! The nega-VOLS need to SHUT UP and go bowling because that's probably as athletic as you can get...these guys played their hearts out so STOP whining about missed shots...don't you think they wanted to WIN more than YOU!!!

Instead of complaing we should be giving props to this team for giving it there all. They played there hearts out guys

Free throws beat us. Mich st made there's we didn't. Also felt like chism was not part of gameplan in 2nd half.

i'm not certain on that; hopson makes the second one and you get the Izzo drawn up play, the one saved like the Titans saved the "Music City Miracle." I think he had something for anyway that he would have called timeout on, run, and they would have probably scored

We lost the game with 5 minutes to go. We had the better athletes in this game and should have won it, but we were up against better coaching.

This team more than what everybody thought they would do in this tourney.Things are looking bright for Tn basketball for the next couple of years

Izzo is just a better coach. He shut us down on the inside and no other team could do that in this bracket. Pearl screwed up when he kept Brian Williams on the court with 5 minutes to go and he had nothing left in the tank. Poor substitution pattern finally came back to bite him.

This +1000. Cam Tatum? where was he? i know, lets let hopson shoot some ridiculous jump shot with 11 seconds on da clock make 1 free throw, as always, and then foul them with no pressure but to make just one. Utter b.s. luck for da spartans. Enjoy ur gift wrapped final four

This feeling sucks. So close, a missed free throw and a last second shot away from the Final Four. Bruce, for the love of UT basketball, please do not go back to that ridiculous style of play we started the season with. Stick with this style of play that got us to the Elite 8, and with the recruits we have coming in we will make another good run.

Completely heartbroken, but proud nonetheless. Good job, guys. Congratulations on a great run. GO VOLS!
