Was satisified with our defensive intensity throughout the whole game, Florida hit a couple of lucky shots and the home grown ref calls went there way all game. Besides that the non existent offense we had in the game for 3 minutes because of Pearl's terrible substitutions was inexcusable and Tatum played like garbage today. Once again how do we not get the ball in Hopson's hands at the end of the game??

This team is nothing but Pathetic and the coaching is beyond pathetic.Its time for Pearl to go.You have Mcrae sitting on the bench and Swiper even he is better than mcmiss or Pearl.Either Pearl doesnt know what he is doing or he is just drawing a paycheck and taking this job for granted.

The fact that Goins apparently didn't know the score is all the evidence you need on whether a T/O was called for there.

4 of 10 on FT's. We played 12 players. 12. Did I say 12 different players got minutes for UT? I'm starting to sound like Iverson....

If Hopson had a big man that could go up and dunk the ball on the screens this team would be dominant. Why are some of you mad at hopson dude is playing with a terrible overall team, also for you guys that think Tobias Harris is that good need to take a look at the first 38 min of the UK game. Tobias is weak and can not do anything against somebody who is more athletic than him.

I've gone from "stick with Pearl through the NCAA crap," to thinking we might hire someone better. Volunteer coaching this year has been a D at best.

The TO didn't beat us. The lineup change that intentionally pissed away an 8 point lead was the difference.

Thing is, if he calls the T/O, sets up a play, and it doesn't work, no one is critical. But to not call the T/O -- and it looked like your players glanced over expecting it -- is a pointless gamble.

We wouldn't be in this situation at the end of every single game if the officiating isn't so freaking lopsided.

Alabama gets to beat Tennessee without making a single basket in OT and Florida gets to shoot 22-10 free throws. There were two spans of 5 minutes or so where Florida didn't score a single field goal. It's a bunch of b.s. that teams are constantly in the game just because they get every single foul call. In the mean time, Tennessee players are all over the floor and the refs swallow their whistle.

This is some garbage. At least I'm about to get hammered. Later.

again, wasn't making arguments over favor of the scenarios

but a coach is still going to get criticism from angry & upset fans for a bad play that doesn't work at the end of a game too....i'm not sure why you were suggesting one wouldn't

I wish they would start reading the message boards again...They aren't the team that beat those grown ass men in Pittsburgh earlier in the season...A reality check is in order for this team and the coaching staff...

Yeah that late game management with the last shot being a Melvin Goins step back three wasn't on Pearl at all. He couldn't call a timeout to draw up a real play or anything. Give me a damn break.
