Well...what a crock. No baskets in the last 9 minutes of the game...but got bailed by the refs. We had our chances, and should have won...missed free throws.

Worst part...living in NC they took the OT period off tv and went to a s..tty hockey game. Scramble for ESPN3!

What a crock all the way around.

I have never seen a worse coaching staff at drawing up plays for your team to have a decent shot with the game on the line. They are beyond atrocious.

You also can't factor them out as a reason for this loss either. Combine poor play with the refs and you get that loss... Take away either factor and UT wins easily...

-Terrible ass shot selection towards the end
-Awful officiating
-And being absolutely clueless when it gets inside of a minute....

There were just too many missed opportunities. Tobias had a good game, but he basically gave them 4 points in the second half by dribbling the ball of his legs and then throwing it away on the subsequent inbound (not to mention that missed free throw in OT).

Goins shooting such a low percentage three with 5 seconds on the clock was a poor decision, and we just couldn't draw up a play when it counted.

The refs were bad, and it's not crazy to say they didn't play a role in our loss, because they did. The truth is, our decision making AND the refs cost us an important game.

I have to believe that Bruce would have gotten a technical at some point to retake some momentum during the stretch where Alabama got every call and the crowd was upset. Tony just stood there.

Ohhhh, so the refs forced those 2 TO's and McBees shot in OT. Makes perfect sense now.
