Hopefully this is just a lapse of focus and we'll finish OOC strong.

I honestly thought so, too. I tend to think we'll be fine, but this is loss is going to look bad for a while, IMO.

It's one game people. It's early in the season. We weren't going 30 and 0. Still a young team, and they need to learn not to start sleepwalking with a big lead. It cost us tonight, and they'll regroup. We are a very, very talented team. Everything just went against us in the second half tonight.

Overreaction by myself aside, this is comparable to the Ohio-Georgetown game last year. Ohio got hot, stayed hot, and never let up.

Time to refocus and get back to what we were doing. Rebounding and playing good D. This just goes to show how crucial Hopson is. If he just puts up some points, we are a much better team. 3 point shooting was pretty bad this game too

That's why I take exception to everyone calling Bruce Pearl the master motivator.

Leaning that way as well....the team seemed flat and let too many big runs. Coaching should have nipped that.

Plus, we got what (despite the fact Oakland will win their conference) will probably go down as a bad loss out of our system. It's a shame it happened, but it's better to have this performance early in the season than against Florida/Kentucky/Georgia/Vandy/etc.
