Official Tennessee vs. Oakland game thread

With about 5 minutes to go I said "this is where big time players should step up" Scotty then proceeded to dribble the ball off his foot out of bounds.

It sucks, but Oakland is a good team. Theyre 5-5 but look at their schedule. Illinois, Purdue, Michigan St, Ohio St, Tennessee. It was bound to happen. Rather it happen now then in February or March

Leaning that way as well....the team seemed flat and let too many big runs. Coaching should have nipped that.

Oh give me a break. Dude just owned the #3 team in the country on the road. He is allowed to have a young team lose a game or two.

This game is on Pearl and his substitution pattern. Ridiculous.

Some of you need to get a grip...Oakland is not a bad team, the loss is not that big of a deal.

UT is still a very good team.

The season is not over.

I honestly thought so, too. I tend to think we'll be fine, but this is loss is going to look bad for a while, IMO.

It wont look bad at all. They lost to Michigan State by 1 point which is ranked higher than us. They also have one or two more games against top 25 teams....As long as they don't get blown out in either of those games, it won't look bad.

Oh lord the sky is falling...Next thing you know there will be mass suicides over this loss LMAO...Get over it, Oakland is a tough battle tested team.

If anyone needs a human punching bag, come to so and so bar... You can punch my face in. What a disappointing loss. I won't feel your beatings because I will already be black out drunk.

Do you guys take a basketball loss as hard as a football loss? I for one didn't use to but over the last two years they have begun to piss me off more and more. Just wondering out loud.
