When was the last time that happened? Men were beaten badly by Oakland 89-82. That may not sound bad but look at the stats. That says a lot about the game. Lady Vols had a tough game against #3 Baylor losing 65-54 and play #2 Stanford on Sunday. That could be 3 losses by the Lady Vols early in the season. Will they drop out of the top 10 if they lose Sunday?

We lost because we got fat and happy with our 13 point lead. To be honest, I was surprised to get up by that much against them when Benson was playing that way. That dude is unstoppable. How many more times this season will we play against a big man of his caliber?

They played like garbage. They let Opie own them in the paint and that's what you get. That and the fact they're a foul happy bunch. They give away too many cheap points. At least make them work a little for it.

i felt sick as I looked at all the threads on the Men's Basketball Thread, talking about starting off 13-0, 19-0, etc. I think we got a little :loco: but for good reason. The only thing that concerns me is if the team will have the same swagger... plus we gave the haters more meat to chew on

That's just how it goes sometimes... UT beat tOSU by 1. MSU beat UT by 1. Butler beat MSU by 1 or 2(I think). Duke beat Butler by 1 or 2 also.
