He's going on 3 years of this garbage. He's done. He can't hit to opposite field to beat the shift and it's now in his head. The best case scenario is we move him in a deal like Fowler. The frustrating part is that it looks like he hasn't changed anything to try to fix it. It looks like he's always working on shortening up but he needs to learn to hit backside or bunt of something....anything. If what you're doing isn't working, change something!

No, he doesn’t even try to bunt down third base when the shift is on. He has only done it a couple of times. Just get on base, he can surely do that. Every now and then he will hit to the opposite field, but he hits right into the shift. If he doesn’t get going, then I say, yes, trade him. I’m still pulling for him, but my patience can only go so far with him.

I knew it wasn’t going to be easy, and I knew after the first score from the nationals, they were about done. I’m planning on coming up for a few games here soon, I just don’t know which ones. Be safe out there while traveling.

Yea, CMart is doing well. I think he will be just fine. I see that he has really come on strong, and I salute my hat to him. I like our offense when it’s clicking. I thought Waino had a good outing, and if our offense could have backed him with some runs, I believe we could win a lot more games. I liked when we swept the Reds, and lost last night, but came back tonight. I wonder about Bader coming back. Is he going to be ready? I believe he will, but only time will tell. Our defense should be a lot better with him in center field.

agree with you 100%
cards were planning to use 6-man rotation since they had 17 days w/o a break in the schedule. That may change siince today's and Thursday's game may get washed out. Surprised that Yadi went on IL but have confidence in knizner. watched waino lose Monday and that was a heartbreaker. Kim looked very good last time out.

That was the worst 3 games that I’ve seen played by them in a while. Walks, hardly no runs, and we were even running into each other. They looked tired or something? They looked liked they were just there all three days in a daze. I know they can do better than that, The pitchers looked like little pee wees out there.

theyll recover
they had 17 strraight games, then went to the west coast for first tiime
mikolas to be back in rotation soon

I do agree. I think Mikolas coming back will help big time, and they’ll get healthy again. He had some good outings in Memphis, even hit a home run.

Let’s just win as many as we can and hold off the central till we get healthy again. If we can do that, then we’ll be alright. It’s a good start tonight, just to get one of those wins back. We’ve got to put San Diego out of our minds and move on till next time.
