From 'tech guy' to big leaguer: Loutos called up by Cardinals

ST. LOUIS -- Even though Ryan Loutos has been a steadily rising pitching prospect in the Cardinals’ organization for the past two years -- largely by taking his fastball from 92 to 97 mph -- most of his Minor League teammates thought of him simply as their tech services help.

Cardinals have heated up pretty recently. Not sure they keep it up. I'm a little torn because I'd like to see them make the playoffs, but I just don't see them making a run.

Arenado has really declined this season. Goldy has too which I expected a little decline because he's getting older. Probably aged a little quicker having to carry the Cardinals the last few seasons. He's a free agent after this season. Wouldn't mind him coming back but definitely not at his current price tag.

I just ventured into the MLB section and found you guys. 3 games above .500? With how this season started, I’m proud of my Cards. I can only hope they keep it up.

Cardinals lost 14-6 yesterday. Should have lost the first game too if the Nats could pitch. Nats have been much better than expected. I still don't trust this Cardinals team to do anything in the postseason. Way too inconsistent.

Does any Cardinal fans know what the Cards are even doing anymore? Actually, what are we doing, because I have no clue. I have no sense of their direction, their agenda, or what the heck? 🤔🙄
