I really hope Reyes can put it together someday. So much talent. So many mistakes.

Well! That was either Mike’s fault for leaving him in to long, or he just had a bad night, or he just didn’t have it. A bad throw, and three errors, and not enough offense again. You’re right, I’m hoping that he can get it together.

Unbelievable, isn’t it? I think 11 days ago we were 9.5 out of the wildcard, but after all that we’ve been through with injuries, it’s still unbelievable.

Oh man! Just slightly off for the cards. Unusual, especially against the pirates. The bullpen unusual give up against the pirates. Happ has been very good, and actually all of the pitchers hasn’t been that bad. The offense can’t cash in with people on base the last two nights. There has got to be a way for them to change this. The Padres have given us chance after chance, and we have to capitalize on it.

Kim is back but they're moving him to the bullpen.
Personally, I think I'd bump Lester to the pen and put Kim back in the rotation....

3. Happ
4. Mikolas
5. Kim

Either way, it's going to help the bullpen issues.

I think that you keep pitching Lester, and try KK in the bullpen for now. I think our bullpen just became a lot stronger.

Lester just drives me crazy. 88 mph max and he struggles hitting corners. Time is catching up to him.

No, he doesn’t get the corners, but I thought he pitched 5 good innings there. He is pretty good at times, but he is trying and I give him a pretty good day today. Lars Nooootbar again! What has gotten into this guy? Right now, I like him, and he has saved us on some games. I hope he can keep it up.

A lot of people is putting the blame on Shildt for last night. I hope the reds and Padres fall to the ground. I know what you mean though by misery.

Waino should be in the cy young talks. Pitchers and our offense had got to step it up now, as we get into our toughest part of our schedule in Sept. As the schedule gets tougher, we can’t rest anymore.
