Official Thread of the St. Louis Cardinals

Cardinals win 3-2 and sweep the series in Pittsburgh.

Another offensive struggle, but a W nonetheless. Wainwright allowed quite a few baserunners, but minimized the damage pretty well. Not bad for his second start.

Milwaukee comes to town for the weekend.

5-4

And that's the final.

Hardly any offense to speak of yet again. Pujols 0'fer again.

Wells didn't pitch too bad, just couldn't get any runs for him. 7 innings, 3 runs.

5-5

Ben Sheets (1-1, 3.60) vs. Braden Looper (1-1, 2.08) this afternoon. Cards going for their first home win of the season.

Cardinals win 10-2

Finally a big game for Pujols. 2-5, 2 HR, 5 RBI.

Duncan continues to hit well. Went 4-5 and is hitting over .400 on the year.

Looper gave up two runs in the first, but none for the next 5 innings to pick up the win.

6-5

Helluva game to watch today. Duncan and Looper looked solid. Pujols had a big day with 2 HRs, but is still batting sub-.200... as is Rolen. Preson Wilson and Duncan both looked surprisingly good in the field today. Holla.
