Of all the QBs in the country why would UT pick this 2 star kid? Your telling me it has nothing to do with Rogers? You are all being delusional. I think the guys over at rivals are pretty good talent evaluators. UGA didnt even give the kid a sniff and they are dangerously thin at QB. That tells you something. Accuracy can be deceiving. He threw a ton of screens in highschool.

Nobody said we aren't taking him because of Rogers. I see that plain and clear, but I do not think Chaney would straight up lie about seeing potential in Nance. Just because he is a 2 star doesn't mean he won't become a good QB. You seem to lack to words potential and improvement in your language. (UGA is not very thin at QB, they love one Mettenberg, they also have Gray and they signed another kid last year in Murray who they see big things for).

That was clever and hilarious. And do you know why Cousin Eddie wasn't in Europeon Vacation?

A: He was only supposed to have a very small part in the first Vacation, but he and Chevy ad-lib everything, so they included a lot of scenes that they originally didn't expect. Anyway, they went on with Euro Vacation as intended, and they got such a backlash from fans wanting to know where Cousin Eddie was. So, he was included in all Vacation movies after that.

Gray is moving to WR. They have Murry and Mettenburger and Hutson Mason just committed in the last month. Thats pretty thin.

Go ask the UGA or other fanbases what they think about Nash. The only reason we are after him is for Rogers.

Brees, Rivers, Pennington, Roethlisberger, etc. The league is full of QBs who weren't that highly rated coming out of high school.

I have no doubt Nash can improve. What I doubt is he has the potential to ever be a contributing player at Tennessee.

Laimisson is nothing. Simms is going to be a junior. Stephens is a senior. Let Bray be the starter, and then let Nance develop into a critical backup. As Cinci and Texas showed, a good backup QB can be very important.

I havnt been able to find Rivals profiles for those guys but I am pretty sure atleast Rivers was rated higher than 2 stars.

There are alot of you who look at the stars. I would bet you that as many 2/3 *s make it and do a great job than the 4 and 5* that everybody talks about. This is not basketball. With the right weight training and coaching that correct flaws, mechanics, etc. I am not saying there are not busts but give the coaches some credit. We see them at HS football games against who. High school kids on Friday nights.

Ok, I agree. All I have been saying is that I don't believe he will ever be a starting QB here. But yes, of course you need back ups. I just believe it is in his best interest to stay with Vandy, in terms of playing time.

The backup from Texas was a 5 star #1 rated qb. Backup qb is exponentially important. But honestly, a couple years from now if your playing in a big game this is the kid you want coming in?

I am not saying Vandy would not be a better option. I saying he might think with the correct people around him it might give him a chance.

Ok... plus... Garrard, A. Smith, Romo, Cutler, Delhomme, Favre, Hill, Freeman, Garcia, Frye, Kitna, Warner, Fitzpatrick, Gradkowski, Kolb, Null, Carr, Thigpen, O'Sullivan...

Those are just the ones at the top of my head who have started in the league at some point over the last two years. None of which were 4 or 5 star recruits coming out of high school.

How many 4 or 5 or even 3 star players are on Boise State or TCU? These teams are good year in and year out. I know it is not the SEC but do not tell me it can not be done.

I don't agree with this. He's going to Georgia without him, as it stands now. Also, he has never been on ANY campus except UGA. Hoping this visit opens his eyes, w or w/o Nance.

No they aren't, they got two Elite 11 QB's last year.
