agreed but marlon should have come to Tennessee. the whole coaching staff did everything possible to let him know how much we needed him and he decided to be an a-hole and go to UGA

I am beginning to believe that Memphis is not a part of Tennessee! What do you guys think?

I've always though this...This was awhile ago with respect to a "rivalry" with Memphis. Funny enough, I got flamed for it at the time. Now others are startin' to agree. It's more Mississippi than Tennessee. Why else do most athletes go to Ole Miss/Memphis as opposed to UT?

All I'm saying is...Head to Head there's little competition.
It requires work in every time with immense ability to lose in order to make a rivalry.
Memphis is hardly part of the state of Tennessee...So I wouldn't even call it an in-state battle...

whatever we end up ranked in recruiting matters today.

and tomorrow who cares...we won't be top 25 preseason but who knows what the end of the year will bring.
maybe these young guys perform like bammers did last year or even better.

Amen to that. We have a great coaching staff that can coach so that alone is going to impove our team, plus what we have picked up today... i say our defence gives up avg. 8 points a game. I just pray he has some wild card up his sleeve for offence

i agree,i like Smith giving a commit for next year,still should be a top 25 for this year,Hubbs saying we should actually be ranked 5th is the SEC,considering the quality we got to day

What people keep forgetting was until Tubs got fired Auburn had the #1 class on rivals and they didnt lose all of their players, they did lose several but not everyone.

Dang. What a fickle fanbase we have here. Like rats jumping off the ship before one game has been played. I think the staff did a great job of pulling in some quality guys that we had no shot at with CPF. We dont have a huge number of commits but our guys are quality recruits who bleed orange. I'll take 7-10 of those guys over 15-20 wishy-washy Oku type recruits whose heart isnt commited to this university. We've had all these 4-5 star headcases in the past that didnt pan out.
