And I didn’t have it listed and not nearly as big, but Michigan beats Ohio State…pretty much guaranteed us a 4 and almost certainly a 3 at worst with an opening SECT win, and definitely increases chances of a 2.

I was trying to imagine a scenario that we’d rush the court. I can only see it, if we were picked to finish 4th in the conference or something and on the final game of the year we beat an undefeated #1 ranked UK team to win an outright conference title. Maybe then

Illinois wins, gets a SHARE of the Big 10 regular season championship, and they storm the court. But I was told that conference regular seasons were meaningless.

Here’s my favorite part…

At 9:30pm last night he has us as a 10 and Purdue 11, at 12:47am he still has it the same…early this afternoon he moves Purdue to #9 over both Tennessee and Villanova??? What exactly prompted that move? Lol. If you want to be high on Wisconsin and die on that hill whatever, but what kills me are the moving of teams when nothing has happened to warrant that?

Someone at the Big 10 headquarters has dirt on him. Only thing that would make sense to me. Grovels over that conference every single year even after they just had the most laughably disappointing NCAAT perhaps of all time.

If he keeps Wisconsin on that 2 line, he’s gonna be completely off when the committee reveals its bracket. Unless they make it to the Big 10 final. I don’t think winning 1 game is good enough for them to hold onto a 2 seed with that terrible loss today.

Well obviously Purdue should be rewarded for losing to a stellar Wisconsin team that just lost at home to a 9 win Nebraska team. Wait a minute…..

Here's a summary of the top 16 seeds and what they've done post release (Feb 19th AM). To me, looks like We probably passed Texas Tech and Purdue, but still are probably behind Nova/Duke for the 2 seed. Illinois is probably right on our tail too.

Nebraska played without their leading scorer (Bryce McGowens) the entire game. The Wisconsin love affair from these hacks is crazy.

That’s a great layout and yea, not sure how looking at that anyone can justify having Wisconsin ahead of us…and as you said should likely have passed Purdue too. Puts us at 9th right on the tails of Duke & Nova.

Wisconsin and Providence are both primed for an early exit in March and these “bracketologists” are going to be SO mad when it happens. They’ve been pumping those teams up all year.

Personally, I think the 1 seeds should currently (subject to change) be Baylor, Gonzaga, Arizona, and Kentucky in no particular order. After that it’s a logjam for 2 seeds. There are about 8 teams that could make a case for a 2 seed right now. Hopefully the conference tournaments give a little more clarity but it’s wide open.

At the time, I was shocked we were that close to winning. I was expecting a 15 point loss but had the lead under a minute left. Let them off the hook after that ON three. I’m proud of how the team stepped up in their absence.
