I used to really like Dawn Staley until she pulled the race card. Then she backed up when Cardoso pushed that player to the ground and She really went backwards instead of getting a hold of her player. I pray they don’t win out!!

Not quite. SC is the #1 seed in the Albany 1 region. Iowa is the #1 seed in the Albany 2 region. Both can make the FF. SC likely has to go through #2 Notre Dame whereas Iowa has #3 LSU and rhen #2 UCLA in the elite 8 matchup (assuming all advance according to their seeding).

For the sake of the women's game ratings, people should want Iowa to advance.

Yes, both can make the FF, but only 1 can advance to the championship game, correct?

I'm a hater so I wouldn't lose any sleep if Iowa lost in the first round. Personally speaking.

Nope, South Carolina is on one side of the bracket, and Iowa and LSU are on the other side of the bracket, so South Carolina could meet either of them in the championship game (and couldn't meet them any sooner than that).

Again not quite. If the seedings hold, Iowa would face #2 USC in one seminfinal and SC would face #2 Texas in the other semi- setting up a potential Iowa v. SC rematch, now in the Final.

More interestingly, if the LVs make a miracle run, they could face SC in the Semifinal game, replacing TX and as they say the 4th time is the charm....

Back in 2013, Notre Dame absolutely owned UConn all season long. Beat them 3x, including the conference tourney championship. But then they met in the FF and UConn schooled them.

Go Lady Vols. 😁😁😁

It will be interesting to see the LSU that comes out to play against MTSU. MTSU will be fired up and wanting another upset win. Will LSU be playing scared or confident? MTSU might be able to capitalize on LSU's TOs where Rice couldn't.
