It’s been said already but I think this is one of the best women’s brackets the committee has ever put together. The games have been excellent and super competitive. The 6/11, 7/10 and 8/9 games have been some thrillers!

Really great considering the increased viewership for WBB this season. Committee showing the public a really great product.

Mildly interesting: a 6’2 player for Jackson State just got called for goaltending against a UConn shot. She jumped right up and touched the glass above the rim! You don’t see that very often.

You can tell Carly Thibault-DuDonis spent time on Vic Schaefers bench. Her team does not care that Indiana is the higher seed. They are flat getting after it and headed downhill, toward the basket. If you don’t get in front they are gonna shoot a layup and they are confident.

NC State looks rusty, but...Chattanooga is getting good looks but mostly not converting.

The interesting thing about MTSU beating Louisville is that if you look at the HerHoops rankings Louisville was #24 and MTSU was #25. Per HH, Lousiville was only a 1 point favorite.

I trust the HH rankings more than any other source.

Kinda disappointed Chattanooga is having an off shooting day, but there's still penty of time. Obviously either team that wins is going to be a tough game for Tennessee tomorrow, but it suuuuuure would be better for the Lady Vols if they don't have to play in front of the 3-seed's rabid home fans. There will be quite a few Tennessee fans there tomorrow, but nowhere near (obviously) what NCST would have.
