Kudos to USC. They’re WELL ahead of schedule in year ONE. And they have the No 1 recruiting class coming in. Will probably attract a big transfer or two. When good coaching meets elite/generational talent, it doesn’t take long to win.

They represent the worst of basketball. They can play the game, but their taunting, shouting in people’s faces, and hand gestures are uncalled for.

You are right about that Angel does this to the nth degree, but most of the LSU players aren't more so than other competitive players. I totally get that many folks love to hate on Kim and Angel, but Flau'jae is one of the most positive persons on and off the court barring the tension at the end of the SEC tourney. and there is nothing particularly cocky about the other players except for Reese. Similarly, they are constantly labeled as thugs in social media, which again is not warranted for most of the players.

i personally don't call any players thugs nor other people as well. It became such a code word the last few decades to stereotype blacks that I prefer to never use it. I do think some people have used it to convey to what the poster said that I was responded to, which is a total lack of traditional sportsmanship. My point was that only Angel exhibits this, but I don't consider her a thug.

It's true, Angel's biggest taunting partners from last year are gone. Angel is the only one who just can't let it go or let it stay on the court. She's taunting the bench, she's having words in the handshake line, she's in it w random bystanders on the way off the court. Her 'swag' seems so very nasty and vindictive as opposed to say FJ's, which is more fun and celebatory of the moment.

Ratings will be huge for the rematch, but didn't we always know people will line up to watch a cat fight? Hopefully with the young players it will be more about the basketball some day.

Did u watch the reply like I asked u to see the assistant coach taunting her and the other coach trying to calm them down before Reese responded? Reese even said in the postgame interview that the assistant coach was talking reckless, I know u people hate her but it seems like u give everyone else a pass, she never starts this mess but u people only complain on the response by her.

I have no idea what was said to who in the line except what you can clearly see Angel say shut your mouth. And the tat for tat really doesn't matter. I did notice Angel had two adult minders with her who quickly told her to zip it while physically stepping btw her and whoever. As I said, that poor girl is just incapable of letting it go, ever. The John McEnroe of WBB. She embraces it, it's her whole act no need to try to rationalize it. And as you often say, it works. If that's what you want to be known for, which she clearly does.
