I wore Duck Head khaki shorts from Goody’s for the majority of elementary, middle and even into high school. They weren’t very expensive, but I looked them up a couple years ago and they definitely are now

The ironic thing about that is that the ones that most of us wore in the 80s were made in the USA and the modern, much more expensive repros, are/were imported.
