@butchnaHe can chill with Torrance Gibson.
Depends on his cost vs evaluation ratio. Can’t overpay if it tilts the room. Don’t need to bring in a good rental if it costs you several developmental guys in the spring when they do their own NIL analysis. Lot’s of moving parts in this new roster management world. CJH needs to make the calls, not click jockeys, unless they step up to fund the net results.
-full quote from VQUSC transfer guard Emmanuel Pregnon was on campus on Thursday and will leave Friday morning. He is fresh off his Oregon visit and now will head to Texas to visit the Longhorns. Tennessee is in play here and from our talks, they have impressed the Trojan transfer. As of Thursday night there is a strong notion that he would like to play in the SEC and if that is the case, then this lines up to be a Texas and Tennessee battle. He will head to Austin and arrive while they are in Dallas for the Cotton Bowl tomorrow night and then meet with the staff there on Saturday.
Ugh. This will turn into a send me your best offer situation. Hard to outspend Oregon and Texas.
After his visit last year, Jermod McCoy went to Texas A&M (his home state) and still committed to us over them. We are competitive NIL wise with guys we truly value.Nike and oil money will be hard to compete with.
But if he is delayed here for a few days by this impending snowmageddon, hopefully he develops Stockholm syndrome and just stays.
Money can't compete with acts of God.
Idk about that. Texas loses two OL to eligibility, and a third in Banks if he declares for the NFL. Their backups are a lot like ours. Redshirt sophomores and freshman. I'll be playing closer attention to the Texas OL tonight for sure.Probably a quicker/easier path to the field here…
Though I guess if you’re getting the type of money he will be, you’re not going anywhere not to start.
