'25 OG USC transfer Emmanuel Pregnon (Oregon)

So Pete Nakos says Oregon is the leader when he visits Oregon. Now Pete Nakos says Tennessee and Oregon both lead, since those are the two he's visited.

That Pete Nakos is on top of it!
He's not on top of it, he's full of it

Apparently the visit went well, he wants to play in the SEC, and he’s leaving Knoxville to go to Texas tomorrow and meet with Texas’ staff Saturday

VQ implied could be a TN/TX battle if conference ends up being that important to him
Well that wraps that up then. We won't pony up what's needed to get him.

So is this guy a one and done? Or does he have multiple years left to play? Because if he only has one year I don’t see how he is worth it.

He has left campus and declined to speak, mentioning he isn't "in this for the headlines." Going to visit TX and maybe another school that's working to get him on campus. AP mentioned the SEC factor again potentially being something he likes.
From yesterday on the OM 247 board and their incredible homer of a mod:

"*** I ran into one of our fellow board members at dinner last night and wanted to know why I was not high on Ole Miss with OL Emmanuel Pregnon while others were. I said I would love to get him, but so would a lot of others. It now appears Oregon and Tennessee are the favorites for the All Big 10 selection. He is at Tennessee on an official now. I know of no plans for him to visit Ole Miss yet."

So we've never beaten Oregon or Texas for a top recruit under Huepel?
Didn’t say it was impossible but yeah you’re going to spend heavy there. Again I’m not one that has said we’re cheap; we go out and spend sometimes heavy. Just going to be hard vs those two; probably the two hardest ones to out NIL there alongside Ohio State.

Emmanuel Pregnon has left campus and chose to not talk. He said he wasn’t in this for the headlines. TN showed him he is a priority but he is going to Texas and has another school that he wouldn’t name trying to get him to visit. I do think the SEC thing is something he likes the idea of based off our short interaction.
