It is worth considering how these same people would respond at their local grocer if the cashier tried to charge them for five apples instead of four. But I digress.

Except that it’s not “inconsequential” as this damaged thought process in has been incorporated by Common core into our public education education system. Allowing “close enough” to be the standard is no standard at all.
