IMHO, emphasizing Clemson's culture is a direct response to what Heupel is doing. I'm not a Dabo hater like many here. But he apparently weighed the risks before and took a more subdued approach. Is it just me or has Clemson really been laying on that “culture” pitch more than ever now that they’ve been exposed the last couple of years as the team everyone knew just feasted on nobodies all year?
Some here don't like the openly "Christian" flavor of Clemson's culture but Heupel's culture has a similar undercurrent. Obviously it isn't the only way to develop a "winning" college football culture but both of these guys include values informed by their faith.
I like both better than the "culture" at UGA. We will see what wins in the end.
