Ginger could potentially be a RT. Probably better at guard.

Heard is talented but a raw project.

Duncan is starting on defense.

Satterwhite is likely a center.

Perry is a guard.

We don’t have nearly enough tackles for the near to medium term. Should get good news on Satt today.. good win that looked dicey earlier this week but missing in Warren would be very tough. Maybe most important recruit left imo.
And that's why the portal is so important in this era of football.

Right now there's a ZERO star kid out there who weighs 245 lbs committed to someone like South Dakota State. In 2-3 years he'll hit the portal looking for a big program like UT having been developed and establishing himself as an elite prospect.

You have to find a strategy that balances HS recruiting and the portal... but even if you load up on HS talent that makes you vulnerable to losing guys to the portal.

FTR, the risk in the portal are a LOT less than HS recruiting. Warren is highly regarded and looks like a good player with all the right measurables. But Campbell at this moment is MUCH more of a "sure thing" than Warren. He has played against CFB competition. He has started about 18 games for a P-5 program. If the Vols miss on Warren or Satterwhite then there WILL BE someone in the portal next year and the next to fill that spot and anxious to compete for it at a top program.

We lead but Michigan has thrown a wrench into what was his pending announcement by worrying his mom about the quality of our Kinesiology program which is what he passionately wants to study. His mom is a professor at Rice which is a high academic school so they have similar priorities to a Dobbs family.

We need to get he and Donde on the phone with them to calm this down and get him in the boat officially.
I can speak to the fact that our Kinesiology department is fantastic. I got degrees in biology and kinesiology. The one drawback is it’s still predominantly in the HPER building which was old when I graduated in 2012. It’s one of the few departments that hasn’t gotten some love yet. Need someone to get them a new building.

Yep. Peay lost 7 FBS transfers from last season. It sucks for the small schools, but great for the kids and the bigger programs.

I doubt it, I feel like theres a good chance CM comes back for his covid year, or Nichols is the C, either one imo
I think Masai Reddick could be a good center as well. Name that nobody talks about that has had good practices as an interior lineman and might be moving there eventually this year

You sir have good intel. This is 100% right.

Gun to the head, I’d still pick Tennessee.
