Tressel set up the system for Pryor to earn his, I think he drove the car with tags to drive the last nail in the coffin at OSU.

Tessel has the history of this and when any light comes out about it, he throws the players under the bus.

I know a former player who was pretty open about the fact that he had received extra benefits. It wasn't a secret, ever. When Clarett said that, a few other guys did, too. It's amazing they managed to just duck all that. Maybe it was by serving up the basketball coach.

So would/will the Auburn fans who staunchly back Cam be labeled racists if/when he ends up bringing the program down? Cam won a Heisman and a NC. TP, though holding a ton of records, hasn't won either, and his team and coach are now toast as he rides up to a meeting in a 350Z.

I'm sure someone will label them that, although I would expect most Auburn fans to denounce any and all allegations against their beloved institution as a conspiracy hatched by Bama fans to bring them down.

Pretty much everyone knows that Tressel was a guy that lied about something that then snowballed and got his arse pretty much fired. Turns out that he is, also, either stupid, or is beyond sleazy. Stupid or sleazy, take your pick. I don't think he got the OSU job by being stupid.

What people are now seeing is that with the spotlight on TP and the rest of the program is that TP is a clueless guy when it comes to his actual value in the world. He really thinks that he entitled to behave poorly and is entitled to, pretty much anything he desires. He is finished at OSU. He is about to find out how it feels to be of no use to an university.

Will he ever play QB in the NFL? Doubt it. He might need to try tight end. His throwing motion makes Vince Young look like Johhny U.

i took at look at the ohio state messageboard and was shocked how strong the support for tressell was. i'd be pissed if my coach was that dumb.

To comment on your last statement above. That's what the "spread offense" does, it ruins QBs. IMO.

OSU doesn't run a spread, I wish they did though. He would've had a ton more success.
