The source said video shows Hyde speaking in the direction of the alleged victim just prior to her punching him in the head. The video then shows Hyde leaving the area and reaching back in the woman's direction in a non-confrontational manner, the source said. From the video, it doesn't appear Hyde ever made contact with the woman – either before or after she struck him, the source said.

But meanwhile...

I'm sure he's working behind the scenes to make any potential charges go away. If the guy punched a woman in the face, he should be done playing football.

I guess if he would have allegedly punched a man, that would have been all cool beans? Maybe just running a few stadium stairs or missing out on Big Ten media if it would have been a guy?

If this is worthy of a 3 game suspension, then wow. It just makes you wonder how many of these cases are actually just trumped up charges just because they are high profile athletes.
