Yemi is in a class I grade for, and there is no denying that he looks 6'6-6'7 every single time I've seen him on campus. I remember the first time I saw him, and I thought, "man, that dude looks a lot like Yemi, but he's not tall enough."

I have been saying this this whole time.

Here's my thing with what you 2 are saying, I've seen him right next to Woolridge and stokes, yemi is taller. There is also a picture online of him standing next to cuonzo, who is every bit of 6'5-6'6 and yemi is CLEARLY a few inches taller.

So my point is, if yemi is 6'6" then Woolridge is 6'5, stokes is 6'4-6'5", maymon is 6'3". Yemi is the tallest guy on the team, outside of maybe Kenny, so if you're saying he's 6'6 then you're saying stokes and maymon are much shorter. I have a picture with stokes, dudes not 6'4" sorry.

The only proven measurables are coach Martin who measured 6'5" at the draft, and that's without shoes so you have to figure 6'6" with shoes. As I said, go look at the banquet pic, yemi has a minimum 2"-3" on coach Martin. With shoes yemi is every bit of 6'9".

I didn't think of Harris i was trying to think of someone who would be in pix that'd have an official height.

So if Harris measures 6' 6.5" w/o shoes and Woolridge is an inch taller that means Woolridge is 6' 8.5" w/shoes. Yemi is definitely not shorter than Woolridge so...

That should settle it, yemi is ATLEAST 6'9" in shoes.

He must slouch when he's not in bball mode. No doubt he was the tallest or 2nd tallest on the court, but he looks nowhere near 6'9 on the street.

Conversely, I saw Richardson the other day, and he's every bit of 6'6. Good frame.

go down the line, richardson is next to maymon and is atleast an inch shorter. maymons atleast an inch shorter then stokes whos next to him, and stokes is a bit shorter than RW. so that means richardson is 2.5"-3" shorter than Yemi, you say richardson is everybit of 6'6". add the difference and yemi is every bit of 6'9".

as you said, maybe he slouches, but when he stands up straight he is atleast 6'9", no doubt about it.

Absolutely, but he's in bball mode in this pic. I've been talking about when I see him on campus once or twice a week.

I never knew that either! But it definitely exists. Anyone who sees him away from the bball court regularly would agree.

I'm sure he's just slouching or doing something that makes him look shorter, but I'm telling you that the discrepancy is HUGE. If you ever catch him walking down the street, I bet you'd be surprised.

I mean I saw him last week at the relay for life on campus and thought he looked like a giant, maybe he was standing straight that day. Yemi, along with all the other players, was standing by Stokes and he was noticeably taller.

Oh well not that big a deal, atleast it's settled and we've come to the conclusion theres campus height and court height for some players. Either way if yemi does go to pro workouts hell measure atleast 6'9" we now know.

I saw The Chill today. I'm 6'1" and he looked 3"-4" taller than me. What was he listed at here?

NCAA has announced an investigation into the UT Basketball team for illegally installing height enhancers in their basketball shoes. The investigation was sparked after random people on the UT campus started carrying around measuring tapes and following each player around. TIFWIW
