OK... where are the "no talent" morons?

Yeah, you are being called out.

This team was a few questionable calls and a mistake short of beating the #6 team in the country. Worley played very well. The receivers played well. Neal played great and physical. The D held UGA to fewer yards and points than LSU.

It was a very good coaching effort... but you don't do that without some talent.

Stupid post.

Or before a game when they're saying UT has no chance, it won't be close, going to be a slaughter... remember?

I didn't say that so you aren't talking to me. But go ahead and link me the post where you called an overtime loss.

This isnt a talented or deep SEC team. It's that simple. What don't you just say our guys played hard and where well coached, instead of looking for some sort of e-pat on the back?

Well said.

I have to agree you have been saying all along that they have talent and I have disagreed I did not believe they had the talent to beat Georgia. They played with alot of heart tonight and I thought they were well coached tonight. There are way more positives to take away from this game than last weeks.

It wasn't directed at you in that regard.

I don't make predictions like that because only the truly "moronic" make ironclad predictions about events like this.

I DID however say that I saw improvement from Worley in the USA game and that if he cleaned it up he would become a good QB. I did say that he and the receivers were getting better. And I DID... tell posters predicting a blow out loss that they were wrong for making definitive predictions.

Gotta keep in mind they were down like 6 starters too. Still proud of the team though. Making strides

I thought the tweaks to the offense really helped him today and the line really did a good job of protecting him.

If you showed such sensibilities then why call people morons unprovoked? We played very well, but we still don't have the depth as top tier teams. It's not really even arguable.

This doesn't mean CBJ gets carte Blanche but c'mon man. If I recall, you use to be more chill on the board. You've turned into an incessantly negative voice on here.

An ironclad prediction would be betting your house on the game, not posting an opinion on a message board. I guess I don't see the point nor do I understand who the morons are.

I'm not sure he's being negative or positive, actually.

So I guess the D2 team that almost beat Michigan has equal talent?

Dude they played lights out and coached lights out. Sure, they're finally clicking together but it's the DEPTH of talent that is key.

You have a 3rd string RB with over 100 yards. Trust me, if UT had the same level of talent UT would be in the drivers seat.

I have been called sad cause I see we have talent. Ignorant all kinds of things on here cause I said the same thing. Get ready to be flamed. Up until now I hated our coaching, glad to see a progression...

You are right. I apologize for being so blunt. It is just some penned up aggravation with some of the negative nancys here who refuse to see the talent this team DOES have. UT has played with the two most talented teams in the East now. Could have won AT UF... and maybe even should have won today.

We played very well, but we still don't have the depth as top tier teams. It's not really even arguable.
That's correct. And I have never argued that. Consistently I have argued that this team if well coached should win 6 based on talent and could win 7 if well coached.

This doesn't mean CBJ gets carte Blanche but c'mon man. If I recall, you use to be more chill on the board. You've turned into an incessantly negative voice on here.
Sorry if it sounds that way. Again, apologize for the overreaction. Just absolutely sick of some of the folks around here who act as if UT's roster was borrowed from UTC.

Just imagine how the game would have played out with equal talent to UGA and that is what we are striving for

I'm becoming a believer in Jones. He outclassed Richt. Hopefully the recruits saw the same thing. ESPECIALLY Malone who I think is a HUGE target for this class.

Lol. Morons tend to reveal themselves in times like these.

Freak, what makes certain "fans" say oh I knew we would lose or keep saying its over now? So we call them out and they call us dumb, well you know the rest! I'm sick of it.

If you don't mind... change the "morons" in the title to something else.

I sincerely apologize. The emotions of losing that way and an impulse to say "I told you so" got the better of me.

I know what the OP is trying to say, he's tired of being called an Idiot by the I told you so group that this is just going to take time, we have no talent, ECT.

This is the first game that we had good coaching(2nd half) and players that looked like they was well coached. The Qb played good in the 2nd half, but we are still week there. This team need s to play the way they finished tonight at the start of the next game.

Hate to say it this way but... we STILL dont have much in the way of talent - but we did have some good coaching tonight and people were able to step up (worley...Im talking about you...and we held on to the ball).

There are pockets of awesome skills in our D line and our RBs but other than that, the talent is not top shelf. But being able to come back from 3-17 and fight all the way to the finish - that comes from having HEART not talent - and frankly, I give a lot of credit to Jones for that as well as the boys themselves.

You have NO basis for saying that... but you know what? Injuries are a part of the game. Does D Young make a difference? Lane? Saulsberry? Maggitt? Couch?

Id think having the best RB in the nation is more important than a back up slot reciever.
