If an SEC team is in the NC, as an SEC fan, I would be for them against any other conference. Any win at this level by the SEC just strenghtens the conference.

Never bought it. It's only good for that program and bad for us. Especially if the four horsemen appeared and south Carolina won a national title. It's only going to make UT returning to national prominence that much less likely and more difficult.

If a 4th team were to emerge and win a NC, it would indeed reinforce the idea of the SEC being the best conference in the land. The thing is, that probably isn't going to happen.

Totally. I know when I watched Bama beat Texas in the National Championship this January I was really fired up for some Tennessee football.

if florida keeps playing the way they have been, then they'll be smoked by bama when they play them in the regular season. who says the gators even win the east, much less beat bama in the sec title game? they've just looked really down this year.

The Gators really don't look down, the offense does, and even with a sputtering offense we've been able to put up a healthy amount of points. If they ever get things figured out, the east better watch out.

There's quite a bit of difference between one bad snap and 12. And fumbling a hand off really shouldn't be considered a bad snap.

I agree Volberry. Bama's offense this year is a thing to behold. The defense, however, might (probably) lose a game or two.

The Murderers’ Row begins this weekend against Arky. Then Florida. Then South Carolina. Ole Miss, UT, LSU, MS. State then the Aubrun Tiggers.

Even this year I don't see running through that obstacle course unscathed.

*EDIT - Can anyone compare this schedule to the Smurf-Turf guys? I'm so sick of hearing about them.

I think Arkansas will beat them tomorrow. I also think South Carolina LSU and Auburn will be very close games. I look for a 1 loss bama team to win the national title again.

the only way someone can beat them is if they have an awesome passing game. that is their weakness.
thats ALL arkansas can do and still couldnt beat bama.

i dont see it happening this year. but there are always freak happenings

bama qb sucks too. he totally choked. bama will lose two games in that gauntlet. there are way better defenses than ark. the only thing that can't be stopped is the running game. besides that bama is average.

If Bama is average, then where would that put UT?
18 straight wins is not average, same qb has been in each of those wins.
