Okay this "War on Women" thing is getting ridiculous

Huh? From a policy standpoint Clinton was much more centrist than Obama. From a rhetoric standpoint I'd say he was a bit more centrist.

burnt has proven that he is going to post any thing that he "thinks" will make BHO look better......pretty weak sauce most of the time

Bill clinton was a rhodes scholar who majored in economics. Don't agree with his policy or respect him as a man...but he is a brilliant economist. I would rather him run this country than Obama anytime.

Then how come Herman Cain owned him so badly on basic stuff? Clinton completely embarrasses himself at about 4'.

You are giving BC credit for what his advisors came up with.

As I tell every person I have to train at work:

You don't have to know everything, you just have to know how to find out anything when you need it.

Ever wonder how the government can be complicit in a war on women, as many claim, since there are more women voters than men?

Ever wonder why women are more likely to vote for a man if his opponent is a woman (statistically true even if its not true in all cases)?

HA! Saying Obama is not as liberal as republicans claim is hardly making him look better in my book. As a progressive the man is a disappointment but I will take a right leaning democrat over an extreme right leaning republican any day.

And yes, Clinton was a centrist who started the debates on the left and met in the middle. Obama starts in center and caves to the right. It's an ongoing joke that Obama regurgitates old GOP ideas.

The health care bill for one. It's the GOP plan from the 90s/Romney care. Clinton wanted the single payer system. Obama also backed off on the stimulus in which most economists said he should have asked for more (Clinton even critized him for it as well).

Eleborate where he is the extreme liberal/socialist the ehco chamber keeps spewing out. What is it? He wants to roll back taxes on the wealthiest to the Clinton levels?

Tell me the socialist policy he has tried to pass. Tell me what makes him the worst president in history, even over his predecessor who created the entire mess we are still in. Obama had a grand opportunity to be great. The next Franklin Roosevelt even. He blew it. As it is he is just average.

Do the research. Most of Obama's major positions (health care, cap and trade, and taxes) are moderate republican ideas from the 90's. Some say Obama is even to the right of Nixon, who was for universal health care btw.

I'm not trying to convince you to vote for him but you can't say he he is the worst ever or that his policies are just so radical that it's worse than the previous 8 years.

the govt owning GM was a right-wing policy?

I said most, not all. And that actually worked! I don't see how that applies to The "worst president ever/ruining the country" argument (and GM is still its own company). And remember, GM and Chrysler came to the government asking for help. It wasn't a socialists take over.

He needed to do that to the banks too instead of just giving them handouts.

so you're for nationalizing all banks too? Interesting

GM worked unless you were a bond holder. What happened to the car companies that weren't bailed out? I assume they just went under

Obama is increasing debt at an unprecedented level and to a level we may never recover from. He has shown he either does not understand or does not believe in the constitution. He has a ridiculous 'do as I say not as I do' trend forming which really makes one question whether he actually understands the peril we are facing. IMO the people supporting/voting for him are either too wealthy to care or too blind with Obama fever to know better.

Furthermore, the auto bailout started under Bush with no conditions such as Chapet 11. But to be fair, as the lame duck, Bush was leaving the conditions of those bailouts, auto and wall street, open for the next guy which is common practice for outgoing presidents.

Obama definitely flubbed the bank bailouts.

you only recently started paying attention to politics, right? bush offered to pass the stimulus and associated recovery bills as he was leaving office, so that Obama wouldn't have to take heat for passing those measures.

Not sure it's Obama fever more so than the fact it's become very friendly to live for free under his administration. What they don't know is they'll pay for that one day and it's going to be with their freedoms. Nothing is free. The free lunch message this administration is sending is helping pile up that debt and help it along to the point of no return.

the majority of people that support BHO do not care about the debt of the country, they have bought into the "government will alway take of us" mentality

Completely agree. In my mind (not a place I would recommend visiting) the example of Obama fever was the "gonna pay my mortgage" clip.

Haven't seen you in awhile -- early release for good behavior or get them to count time served prior to sentencing? :)

I get busy in the summer. I still chime in from time to time. Not a whole lot to talk about Gator other than politics, after all we still have Dooley as our coach.
