Oklahoma State Postgame Report

Good work BTO! Although your player of the game should have been called The Bernard King Player of the Game. Your only mistake.

I'll be able to watch Sunday. I think UT comes out and plays strong.

Also, that's twice McRae has been VN player of the game this season.

McRae has been the best player through 3 games IMO....let's hope that continues and everything else gets figured out.

To be fair, McRae is POG by default for lack of any other tangible option. To me, POG should have been the 2nd half buzzer that put this game firmly in the past and out of mind.

Basically the offense stunk up the gym. We couldn't hit from outside, and for whatever reason we refused to go inside enough, even after their big men got into foul trouble.

Defensively we didn't do too badly. Okie St. certainly didn't look that great, so it's a disappointing loss any way you slice it.

And got beat by 10 on the boards, which is usually just plain ol' effort. Didn't check out; didn't scrap for rebounds; etc.

I've seen a few people touting the final score as proof that we played a good defensive game. OK State (Kiffin's ball boys) completely took the air out of the ball for almost the last 10 minutes of the game. In the second half it seemed like they were spreading us out and getting the the rim at will. IMO they could have put a lot more points on the board if they'd kept pushing the pace. We just showed no ability to stop the dribble drives in the second half.

FYP....the conspiracy runs deep
