Worley sure was flushed out of the pocket a lot today. Our OL probably looks like a piece of wet tissue paper to the OK DL.

For you guys predicting a blowout are you going to watch the game? If you are...why? I seriously woudn't watch a game just to watch my team get it handed to them.

I just pray our players have more fight than the fans do... sheesh.

If I didn't know any better I would think we had a fanbase full of fn losers and quiters! Who have the nerves to hide behind the term" realist". I'm glad our players are competitors and not realist because games are won on the field and when the whistle blows anyone can win even Tennessee! Go Vols!!!

We will have to get better on the o-line but they are extremely young and are fighting. I will take that over any of the past few teams quit when things are hard attitude. I also remember a team in 85 that was not supposed to win in the Sugar Bowl and a team that was not much better if any than this one that beat Miami that was loaded with Kellen Winslow and others. Tennesse has won games they were not supposed to. So I am honest with myself and know it will be difficult because OK is an excellent team but Butch is getting the Big Orange Swagger back in this team. I will not give up on them before the game is played then come on here and complain that this team needs more fight. If I do wouldn't that mean I need more fight in me? Good win GBO!

That's a perfect description of this offense

Its almost like having a finger gun in your jacket pocket

The offense did have 415 yds today, and 168 was rushing. That's a reasonable one-game improvement over 110 in the opener. I also thought CMJ kept the running game again, chosing to continue to run inside almost exclusively with the RBs, with an occasional keeper or sweep. Very few bubble screens as well. I look for them to start pushing the edges trying to stretch the OU. defense. They did it in the 1st half today to take then stretch the lead. But I think they purposely kept it basic in the 2nd half.

But hey, everyone had to know going in the OL was going to be a work in progress this season, only to have the timetable backed up due to Gilliam's injury. But I believe if they can get 100-125 yards in the running game against OU the game will be competitive. But I'm basing that on our defense really being improved as much as we hope, of course. Obviously we cannot get into a shotout with OU.
