Let's keep things in perspective, shall we?

now you're channeling gsvol by posting irrelevant pictures in vain attempts to bolster your weak points.

I'm sure it wasn't a donation. Probably just a late payment for an appearance fee which is certainly acceptable. Not much different than Auburn helping our Mr. Newton's church really.

You manipulated your parents often as a teen didn't you?

He shouldn't be fired... That'd be extreme, just like it was with the NPR guy.

Juan Williams had no idea his comments were going to get him fired. George Soros put the screws to NPR to fire the guy to send a message to all the other tools on NPR. Olbermann reached into his pocket and gave money to politicians - it was an avoidable act. Apples and oranges.

Wait a minute. You guys can't even agree on why you hate Olbermann. He either believes the"junk that he spews", or he's just a fear-mongering entertainer who will say anything to pander to his audience. Which is it?

I don't hate Olbermann, I feel sorry for him. I think he actually believes what he says no matter how idiotic or insane it really is.

Doesn't seem very "wicked smart" does it?

Olbermann contributed to three Dems - POLITICO.com Print View

Grijalva, a prominent liberal who was just declared a winner in his race Thursday night, was in a tight contest against tea party-backed candidate Ruth McClung when he appeared on "Countdown" — one of several appearances he made on the show.

NBC has a rule against employees contributing to political campaigns, and a wide range of news organizations prohibit political contributions — considering it a breach of journalistic independence to contribute to the candidates they cover.

Olbermann, who has become of the most prominent liberal commentators on cable television, has been a critic of the political donations made by Fox News’ parent company, News Corp., which contributed $1 million each to a pair of organizations trying to defeat Democratic candidates.

I don't see a big problem with it. MSNBC is openly biased. If the policy holds for both networks then he is just an idiot for doing it. NBC might want integrity, but their cable cousin just wants a mockery of news.

MSNBC still doesn't get it. What people do in their private lives is private, unless it hurts the image of the network they work for private donations are just that, private. Pure idiocy on the part of MSNBC.

the itiotic part is treating olbermann like an unbiased newsman. if this was their anchor i could see it. the fact that they don't get olbermann is extremely biased is the disturbing part. you should see the socialists they regurally feature on CNBC.
