I’m the “voter” that gives the nod to the new guy, like Elder. Give him the start, throw an inning and then bring in Strider or Kershaw. Reward the guy because there is probably a 98.9% chance that this will not be the last ASG for Strider or Kershaw. It may be Elder’s one and only chance to shine.

Kershaw may not pitch at all has shoulder stiffness may not make start tonight it's 50/50 if he does!!!

Kershaw would get the nod due to his resume in total. 3 Cy Youngs,1 N.L. MVP and a Ring. May not be rite but that is reality I personally don't want Clayton to pitch needs arm rest.
