I never wanted to play for the Dodgers. They were pretty mediocre whenever I was growing up. The Braves won 90+ games 13 out of the first 15 years of my existence and they won the division every single one of those years except for the strike year. One of those seasons the Braves didn’t win 90+ was the strike year in which they were on pace to win 97 games and the other year was 2001 in which they won 88 games. The Braves have had more 100-win seasons than the Dodgers in my lifetime also. Braves > Dodgers in my lifetime.

^^^^^^ This was way back in the early 70s & I had no team I was loyal to. Baseball games wasn't even on TV that much either. Ted Turner & his TBS Super Station changed all of that.

LaSorda was great interview, particularly when he was the 3B coach. Koufax is my all-time LAD favorite
