It goes way back 30 years ago or so. Whenever TN Vols football team would get a top ranked player to commit the rating services were mad that a 4 or 5 star player didn't pick Alabama or another school they thought should have him. So to show their displeasure w/the Vols, they'd take away one of the recruits stars. I think that's how the story goes.

Don’t get a day off until Sept. 3, after the first game of the Reds series. How weird is that?
