Just got back from venturing out to find some grub for lunch.

They’ve been hinting at this for several months now. I think it’s the most fair thing to do if there aren’t going to be balanced schedules and are giving 4 bids each to the Big 10/SEC. Top 2 teams in the Big 10/SEC get an automatic bid and 3-6 in the conference have to earn it.

When I was the Bar Manager at Sagebrush our Beer Sales were higher in the Winter compared to Summer. Wondering if your wholesale numbers reflect the same?

my route is a little different. It’s dictated by football, kids being on campus and patio weather.
Downtown baseball will soon add to it as well.

My winter is SLOW! But things like the super bowl and believe it or not, we have already been getting ready for St Pattys day, affect my territory until it really takes off.
There is no gradual build or decline.

They are my bread and butter.
Mostly just good people, older people, who just like to hang out at the bar, drink beer, smoke cigarettes and BS with everyone.

A lot of people look down on those places, because they are not the new, flashy bar or restaurant.
Those are the people that are loyal customers to you and I like to interact with them.
The VFWs are some of my favorite accounts.
People forget about our veterans and I like to show them appreciation. You’d be surprised how happy a simple beer shirt or even a koozie will make them.
What you see is what you get with me. I like to treat people with respect and don’t judge people on anything other than how they treat me.

When I was a teenager my cousin and I went to VFW and drank quite often. We knew the Owner I loved that place had 3 pool tables and smoke boiling from cigarettes... Many quarters I put in that old jukebox.good times.... BTW it was Newport and in the 80's no ID required...

I personally don’t think any conference should get any auto bids. Teams should just be ranked 1-16 and whoever those 16 teams are get into the playoff. If it happens to be 6 SEC teams then so be it but I don’t believe in gifting playoff spots to anyone. But if they are going to go down that road of gifted bids then a conference play in is the most fair thing in that format.

I miss those places, mostly breweries around here now, which is fine I guess…I really miss the old Longbranch Salloon.
