Individuals over in Braves thread pissed off because Ozzie was yucking it up with Mookie while on 2nd baseman and Dodgers winning comfortably.

What non-baseball people don’t understand is baseball is more of a gentlemanly sport.

You compete against the pitcher when you bat, and respect the athleticism of the competition in the field. Most are friends and don’t hate each other in real life.

I would be shocked if he were to make it to free agency. That franchise needs someone to sell tickets and if he is locked up long term then maybe some other good players will find their way to Cincinnati.

Personally, I do not agree with penalties resulting in automatic first downs unless it is a personal foul. Does not make a whole lot of sense to have a 5 yard penalty called in a 4th and 30 situation and you gift the offense a new set of downs. Also do not like offsetting penalties whenever the yardage for those penalties differ.
