Sitting here at Hartsfield, looking at this plane that is going to take me to Johannesburg, SA. 15 hours on this bird, then 2 more flights to a safari camp in Botswana. Gonna miss the Vols sweep a few!

Cape wine. Get it. It is a better “port” than from Portuguese vineyards. You can’t call it port anymore but absolutely cape ruby and cape vintage reserve. Those fortified wines are something I just can’t find in the states.
expect your cell phone to be stolen. In fact if you ever go back take all the old cell phones you can, working or not. The locals are mad for them.

Like flying now….not long ago it appropriate to dress up and now its like a **** show at the airport.

I can't believe I actually used to put on a sport coat and tie with a crisp pair of slacks just to fly on a plane!! And many, many, times, too - even when there was no other reason to.
