The luster has come off of Hugh Freeze. A loss like this is going to be difficult to explain away especially a non-competitive loss.

Ole Miss and MSU are about to be Ole Miss and MSU again. Big 3 leaving Oxford and Dak leaving Starkville is going to seriously hurt next year for those programs.

Alabama isn't 09 or 2012 Alabama or whatever. Will be close. Wouldn't be surprised to see them with two losses when we play them.

You're exactly right. And Ol Miss still almost lost. They became media darlings because that gift and UF has become media darllings because they beat the Rebs. Vicious cycle.

You're right they did.

I just can't see it. I mean I'd love for it to happen but I can't see us beating Alabama when all we do is throw screen passes and feed Hurd.

Right, well I think we both can agree that he's playing his way into a nice NFL contract no matter if Memphis wins or loses this game. Lynch's name should definitely start popping up on NFL scouts radar now.

We can beat Bama, but we have to do these things

1) Don't run sideline to sideline. We must hit them right at the LOS. Bama is too fast to run parallel to the line

2) Short passes to the middle of the field. Soften up the LBrs to force them into covering the pass, which keeps them from crowding the LOS

3) Take shots downfield. You have to spread the defenders to open up holes 15 yards and out and sneak a TE into that hole

4)Lots of pressure from our DD with Run blitzes. Don't drop back in 3 man fronts and too much zone. Kiffin will pick us apart across the middle of we play off the receivers. Press them and force the QB out of the pocket

5)Continue to dominant in the kicking game

6)Be agressive and not play conservative
