Yeah and Outside the Lines with Bob Ley did too... Never mind that they didn't cover the Vanderbilt case where there were actual criminal convictions. ESPN is a big game hunter and this type of lawsuit seeks coverage from them. Make no mistake that there will be a financial settlement here.

That's what they've been saying all this time, but nobody except the Ole Miss AD has actually seen what's in the NOA yet. And there's no such thing as a "secondary violation" by the NCAA, so we know OM is blowing smoke.

My guess is they got hit with some Level II's (pretty bad) and maybe a Level I (LOIC) and needed to keep it under wraps until the recruiting class is locked, signed, and loaded. UNC style.

Probably referring to the sexual assault money grab against the university. It's getting play on Nashville news. It's also getting play on national news. IMO, that would meet the definition of ***storm. We actually have the potential to get more bad pub than Ole Miss.

Are you talking about that civil lawsuit (i.e. money grab)? Ridiculous.

Ridiculous or not, and whether it is a money grab or not (personally it seems that way), it still looks bad for the university, for the moment anyway. My dad pointed out that it isn't seemingly worse than the Vandy rape thing and nobody talks about that really anymore despite it being unsettled. So really, in a month, no one will remember this likely.

It just sucks currently.
