Great point and a rather confusing one!! It is like this team either has no identity or they are quick to leave it.

You have to get Stokes involved early, you have to hit layups, you have to knock down the easy 15 fters. Not really sure and can't put a finger on how do you not get up to beat Al. As you said they are mediocre, Lacy is out of shape, just does not add up.

If we don't get in its nobodies fault but out own. On the flip side, glad thr conspiracy thing will get put to rest...UK doesn't deserve a bid, no way, if they do I'll buy conspiracy if they don't then everyone saying they'd get in because of name needs to shut up lol.

We lost to Ole Miss twice and they won a big game in the tourney. If TN does not get in, they are to blame and we all know Martin has one more chance. Sorry guys, but going from 6 straight to 2 NIT (if that happens), does not impress me. He has no excuse next year, quite frankly he should be a top 4 seed next year with the team coming back. I guess the guy with the CM orange shirt picture profile will say how wrong this is now. But facts are facts, even if TN makes it, that is still not as good as what we had, period.

If you're referencing me you're wrong, I agree with what you said pretty much. If we miss the dance this year next year is make or break for Zo IMO, I've been saying that for months.

ole miss beat us twice with Alfred E Newman, performance against bama looked like earlier in the season before we went to a 4 guard line up=lame

Went to bed thinking Missouri was going to win the way they were playing.
Woke up and checked my s-curve site and Ole Miss was sitting at #L34 and Ky at #L37.
Hate to, but got to give it to Kennedy.

Public opinion doesnt determine correctness of a position of course but would guess that 80%+ of it fans would disagree w that. The whole "in line f a contract extension and raise" talk at very least seems silly. You do that when you're about to lose a valuable property and hardly will be case w CM.. And it wont matter dick if he has a more desireable place to go in the future (say, purdue after a 27-7 elite 8 in 2014 hypothetically) that we gave him another yr on his contract and a pay bump. That's just crappy negotiation 101 imo.

This is a great job w fantastic fan support and monetary resources...and solid coaches like green and pearl have shown you can do well here as neither ever missed the tournament.

Something else that only matters when you arent winning as sort of a tiebreaker...martin's teams play a style which is not as enjoyable to watch.

Martin's problem is that he can't get his players to play the style he wants which is feeding the post and crashing the boards.
They always regress to settling for the quick 3.

Ala won 2 out of 3 against us this yr.

I stand corrected. With this wacky schedule in the SEC some teams we only played once. Bama was home and home plus the Tourney.

Saw a few bad 3's yday but they were the exception...sometimes you just don't make good looks and that's not coaching, effort or anything else that people have said about yday. Same w free throws...but f the record I think we are at the bottom of the sec, maybe 12th or 13th last I checked in 3pa per game

You only saw a few in 5 of 23?
A couple of games we looked very good attacking the zone with cutters and ball reversal.
that was completely abandoned yesterday.
Look at golden's stats. The 3pt shot isn't his game.
