Ole miss vs Bama

because they are too much of cowards to schedule meaningful OOC games.
Florida St x2
Clemson
Va Tech x2
Penn St x2
Michigan
West Virginia
Wisconsin
USC (would have been x2 but Covid canceled the second meeting)
Louisville
Miami
Texas x2

Those are OOC games Bama has played since Saban arrived. And Bama has upcoming contests between Wisconsin, Florida St, Notre Dame, and Ohio St just to name a few.

I'm not sure what point you think you're making, and it would appear that we have that in common.

List all of the OOC opponents you play. It is 1 hard team (usually in a stadium close to you) and 3 cupcakes. Same formula every year.

As opposed to what? What should Bama do?

In Bama's 6 recent national championship years, only in 2017 did Bama's SOS rank outside the top 20 (27). And that ranking was due to playing Florida St, who started the year ranked #3but finished the year 7-6 because their starting QB got injured late against Bama.

To me, Alabama should be playing at least 2 Power 5 OOC opponents.

Georgia this year, for example, had to play Oklahoma and Georgia Tech if not for cancellation and played Oregon and Georgia Tech last year.

Florida played @ Utah and played FSU.

South Carolina is playing UNC and Clemson.

Alabama was a perennial top 10 team but had easier schedules and you don't see Alabama going on the road like Florida did against Utah. I hear all of the time from non-SEC fans about how we can't win on the road and in some ways, they seem true. Look at Florida laying an egg at Utah this year.
