What makes Dooley's inability to match Kiffin somehow acceptable?[/QUOTE

You're jumping the gun quite a bit with the statement. DD hasn't even had a full recruiting year under him. He also walked into a bad situation and saved the guys already enrolled and added players who went "on the record" and said they would not have come if Kiffin was coach. Don't be a SGM, you're better than that.

Also, the spin stops here...

What would lead you to believe that such a comment would be in error, were it to be made?
I absolutely believe Kiffin would have brought in a top five class if he were still here. I also absolutely believe he would've brought in more risky players which would've resulted in more turnover ultimately weakening the class. I think CDD will not recruit as good as Kiffin but we may still end up with similar talent left once off the field issues take their toll. As much as I despise Kiffin, he brought a lot to the table in recruiting but he also brought in more questionable character players and also used some unethical recruiting practices.

I say #10 with a surprising number of 3 & 4* players who are lured by the emphasis on developing the whole man.

He has hours to pull together (and keep together) this class and it finishes #9...and you find it unacceptable? Remember our fabled classes out of the top 25? Remember our #1 class that vanished? Your unacceptance is unacceptable.

Just inside the top 20, but finishing outside the top 25 doesn't mean Tenn didn't meet its needs it jsut means Dooley missed on some of his top targets.

At the point you post on a message board that's open for all to see, isn't that on the record?

It's like the Department of Redundancy Department with these posts.
