One America News Network - Gaslighting on Steroids for Conspiracy Theory Paste-Munchers

So I wanted to check out OAN since it’s been making headlines. They were doing a heavily right slanted story on the Galapagos giant tortoise breeding program.

The giant turtle lobby needs to step in here.

I actually found their coverage to be fine.
Well, I guess it's settled then. The Coronavirus is a lab creation of the left, in order to better control the population.

I’ll bet they ran around the turtles harassing them and forcing them to wear stickers on their shells that says I love and support Trump .. didn’t they ?

I’ve kept it on OAN all morning. Haven’t heard that but I have heard some coverage you’d never hear from Gail King. What I’ve watched has been zero commentary but just news. Refreshing.
Glad this Gundy thing turned me on to it!!

What about all the racism that I heard they have on that channel ?

I think the shirt was the tipping point. A few former players have come out and said they were told similar things by Gundy’s coaches. Called thugs. Told they would be sent back to the hood.

A T shirt with OAN on it is the tipping point??

Really??

If there's racist or borderline racist behavior, then call that out, not the friggin shirt he's wearing. That alone should be enough of a tipping point.

Just imagine if he was wearing that shirt, posing with some fish, and giving the OK hand sign. That'd tip the boat over.

Gundy has zero common sense. If your livelihood depended upon forging a good relationship with AA young men, why would you wear a shirt that represented a far right wing media outlet that spread false information about the protests?

If people like Gundy continue to fold and apologize to these dumbasses this stuff will continue, he should have told him “hey listen you spoiled little liberal, carry the rock and shut up or your scholarship is pulled”
Or maybe something more along the lines of: “it’s just a t-shirt.”

Why do so many people have to make something out of nothing?

He couldnt. And that is the issue. Instead, any word, slogan, advertisement, brand, etc can be anointed racist if the right people get behind the claim.

The validity of the claim is irrelevant.

What's hilarious is that you actually seem to think there is an equal comparison between the two. One of OANN's "reporters", Kristian Rouz, also works for the Russian propaganda outfit called 'Sputnik'. Among other brilliant things, Rouz has promoted the conspiracy theory that the Coronavirus is a plot by George Soros, Bill Gates, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Bill and Hillary Clinton and China to engineer population control.

CNN peddled Russian collusion nonsense for years. Their credibility is lower than OAN at this point. They’ve done so much damage to their reputation it would take a decade to fix (if they wanted to).

Somebody needs to tell these AA men that the network has not damaged them in any way. The best advice they could get right now is stop allowing yourself to be victimized by boogeymen created by the leftists.

That is ridiculous. By itself, the June 9, 2016 meeting at Trump Tower between Donald Trump Jr., Paul Manafort and Jared Kushner with Natalia Veselnitskaya and several other Russian operatives justified an investigation of collusion between the 2016 Trump Campaign and the Russian government. Donald Trump Jr. made several misleading statements about this meeting. He initially told the press that the meeting was held to discuss adoptions of Russian children by Americans. On July 8, 2017, after news reports stated that Trump Jr. knew the meeting was political, he admitted in a tweet that he had agreed to the meeting with the understanding that he would receive information damaging to Hillary Clinton.

Furthermore, when the New York Times was about to report on email exchanges between Rob Goldstone (who arranged the meeting) and Trump Jr., Trump Jr. himself admitted that Goldstone had stated in an email to him that the Russian government was involved and that the purpose of the meeting was to get "dirt on Clinton" and that the meeting concerned a "Russian effort to aid the Trump campaign". In early July 2017, it was reported that President Donald Trump himself drafted Trump Jr.'s initial misleading statement while aboard Air Force One. This report was later confirmed by the president's attorneys. In July 2018, the President denied knowledge of the meeting.

For the whole thing to have been "nonsense", President Donald Trump and Donald Trump Jr. sure were trying to cover something up with a lot of lies. An investigation was more than warranted and the cable news networks, CNN included, would have been derelict not to cover such an investigation.

Any comparisons between OANN and CNN's coverage of the Mueller investigation and allegations of collusion between the 2016 Trump campaign and the Russian government can easily be dismissed as partisan deflection. The fact is, the June 9, 2016 Trump Tower meeting did take place... and President Trump and his oldest son were caught in multiple lies over the matter. Why lie so many times if you have nothing to hide?

The meeting was a setup. How did Veselnitskaya get in the country?

The amount of unsubstantiated garbage CNN pushed is a matter of public record. They weren’t doing journalism. They were throwing red meat to people like you, BB. They inherently understand you’ll gobble it up and ask for seconds. You still haven’t even questioned how much of the info you consumed and assumed as fact was indeed hyperbolic garbage.

Remind us all again who was charged with crimes related to this collusion business.

As I’ve stated before, I’ve never watched OAN, but I know CNN peddles lies, innuendo, and unsubstantiated rumors as facts. OAN would have to try hard to have less credibility than CNN.

Blah, blah, blah

The June 9, 2016 meeting at Trump Tower did take place, and both President Donald Trump and his oldest son found it necessary to lie about not only the purpose behind the meeting and what was discussed, but also who was in attendance. Why lie so many times, unless you are trying to cover up something that you know shouldn't have happened? The investigation into whether or not collusion occurred between the Russian government and the 2016 Trump campaign was more than justified, and of course, it should have been covered by the press - including CNN.
