Really wish he would've gave all our QBs playing time in the first three games. I know hindsight is 20/20 as I was pulling for Worley. But if CBJ knew he was this bad he should have found the answer with our first two games instead of running vanilla offense and not preparing for the later part of the season. Eff the redshirts. Play somebody who will at least keep the damn ball on a read option or don't run the option. That's being as hard headed as it gets. I can't stand to watch us telegraph our run plays. How many times has half the field been vacant of defenders and yet Poorly still hands it off. C'mon man

It has come to my attention that the concept of rebuilding a program from the ground up is a total wash for 90% of VN.

What the eff does that mean. A total equal for 90%?

A wash would be like if you took a dollar from me after I took 100 pennies from you. That would be a "wash." I'm not sure what type of "wash" you are speaking of. Is it a exfoliating wash?

3 times in 5 years thus far. Where will you be in 3 to 4 years if there is by chance another change in leadership?

Do you realize we have a significant number of walk-ons in our 2 deep rotation?

We just got whipped by the fastest team in the NCAA. Depth is a HUGE factor.

Give him time to fix it and he will.

and if Worley had or does start to click mid way through the season like Crompton did in 09 everyone would cry about Butch wasting a year of Dobb's eligibility so he could throw a pass against APSU.

Oh probably just me venting after reading most of the nonsensical posts trying to figure out why we could not compete with Oregon this year. Nothing directed at the OP by the way. His post just wound up in front of me at the wrong time. Now back the eff off. :D j/k

That has zero relevance to qb play and running a read option and the qb failing to keep it one damn time

This has been said a million times, but I am going go out on a limb and say that the freshmen simply aren't ready yet, mentally and physically. There is more to being a QB than just throwing the ball. He pulled Worley at halftime of the AP game, and Peterman did nothing. What more do you want? I think CBJ has been to this rodeo before, so I think he knows what he is doing.

Ok but I don't understand running this read option and handing the ball off every single time. If whorley is gonna be the qb. Play to his strengths. Why not take advantage of our o line and run right at them

In the end wouldn't have mattered a bit.

So we score another TD or 2. Still a loss. Still a butt whipping.

Do you think losing all depth at slot receiver 3 days before the game has any relevance?

I will give a look at his "Body of Work" at the end of the 2015 season.

Can you not see past the Oregon game? We can not run out offense like that all year. I'm talking about our offense period. All three games we've seen of it, not just one. How many time has Worley kept it all year? 2 times against Peay

We don't have a dual threat Qb. Fact.

Well, that is a point of debate because CBJ did say when he was hired that he would run more of a pro style system (with the read option). But I don't believe we have a true FB, and if you have watched the NFL this year, more teams are going to this pistol/read option look, and the QB's are not running. The Cowboys don't have a FB, and even Peyton is using the look out of the pistol. My guess is that Worley is free to run but has simply not kept the ball. We just have some inexperienced QB's right now and Worley is limited. Growing pains. I know fans don't want to hear it, but we have to be patient. Last year was the year with talent, and we know what happened. Would have loved CBJ to have been able to utilize CP and Bray.
