I will say, Memphis had an incredibly overrated defense this year. At least from what I saw tonight.

Agreed. The talk that they had the best defense in the nation was unfounded. Tonight was definitely an "off night".

I have no problem with hating another team. What I have a problem with is irrational trash talking, where people dismiss the achievements based on stupid logic. Some sound like Vandy fans around here.

You are on a UT message board within a UT basketball forum whining because people are happy that a rival lost.

Do you also have a problem with irrational trash talking where people dismiss the achievements of UF or Bama Football in the UT Football Forum; or is your righteous indignation selective?

Nope, I have no problem with being joyous a rival lost. And in hindsight I should not have painted with so broad a stroke because I didn't mean to imply everyone who was against Memphis was being bad.

Don't even get me started on the Cards. I have family in STL and they are huge Miz and Card fans and I will hear ab this one for a while. Oh and you're post is insanely incorrect. Evans was not contained and you guys still just put the hurting on us. Worst defense I've seen this team play in years.
