Actually my point was more of an aggravated “I hate we have to start off in Norman” mentality. BUT since you went there…no I don’t think it’s realistic to have them play all their games in the road. However, since UT is one of the founders of the SEC, or at least been here long enough, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to say they shouldn’t have to be the ones starting on the road in a place as hostile as Norman against the newbies of the conference. I get that’s how the chips lie and it is what it is, hopefully Heupel goes in with the mentality of “I’m not losing to my alma mater” to fix his road issues. But that being said, it’s going to be incredibly tough and Nico’s first huge test of the season, so I don’t have the utmost faith. Thus, it’s BS they have to do that.So you think it would be fair to make them play all their sec games on the road this year? What about next? All home games? You haven't thought this through besides being weird
Yea we aren't entitled to anything. Multiple "founding" members will play in Norman this year. And even if we are the only founding member to have to be on the road? So what. You think any of the non founders GAS we are founding member? Of course not. It makes no difference bc it will rotate. How would you know that their ass hurt isn’t real?Yea we aren't entitled to anything. Multiple "founding" members will play in Norman this year. Why should they open their SEC schedule at home is the better question. Hell their first two SEC games are at home. Why would they be welcomed into the SEC with that benefit?Yea we aren't entitled to anything. Multiple "founding" members will play in Norman this year. Oh I totally get why they’re doing it, I just hate it. Plus, I know people may disagree here, but I think next season is another 8-4 or 9-3 season. So I also wonder if the gameplan isn’t to make OU and Texas look great by giving them big games at home in hopes that the Red River Rivalry will basically determine which of them goes to the Conference Championship? This makes a lot of sense. OU’s first SEC game sending Josh Heupel back to Norman to welcome them to the SEC. The storyline makes too much sense. That’s the way it’ll be marketed.
