Orange Bowl: Iowa vs Georgia Tech

I am compelled to agree, though if it weren't for LSU sucking versus Pa. St. I'd be arguing their competition was largely weak. I mean, I guess I still could, but when a team from your own conference loses to the Big Ten that's an awfully easy come-back for the Big Ten apologists (of which there surprisingly remain quite a few).

Consider LSU is top 5 in the nation in terms of team speed the weather that day SIGNIFICANTLY favored Penn State. It was a shame the field was in that bad of shape.

even tho the field was horrible...we gotta stop with that the big ten has no speed theory..every team has speed....talent is more spread now...plus speed doesnt mean much if you dont know what you doing out there....fsu had one of the fastest defense out there yet the got hammered every game..its all about teamwork and if they are well coached...watch out

boring game, I've watched most games but this one has to be one of the worst BCS mathcups imo

I tend to agree somewhat although I believe the speed in the SEC on the defensive line league wide is vastly superior to the Big Ten.

Am I the only one that feels like GT beat themselves?

I couldn't understand their first half game plan. They constantly pitched the ball to the left and only had one linemen blocking. Iowa already had five guys lined up on that side of the field. Sorry but one linemen isn't blocking five guys.

This game shows what happens when a team has a month to prepare for about 5 different plays...

Lol. I've always thought bowl games benefit less talented/worst coached teams.

I feel like good coaches expose every flaw possible with a week to prepare. So giving them a month doesn't really do anything other than give them more practice time. They've already figured out what they are going to do in a week anyways. The underdog on the other hand has more time to come up with a game plan. Extra time they could have used when they were losing more games throughout the season.
