We get a CB commit this weekend IMO. Butler, McDuffie, or Abernathy.

McDuffie is blowing up would love to have him

With all the other DEs seemingly so interested in Tennessee, I wonder if CBJ may be in a position to push for an earlier commitment from Kyle Phillips? 1 DE spot left.

I asked this in the first thread and got no response. It's a mystery.

Recruits have discussed bits and pieces of it in interviews. It's basically your standard recruiting weekend but with a few twists. There's a lot of stuff that goes on, but the difference is that almost none of it is focused directly on football besides the usual "we really like you at (position), we think you can be a big-time playmaker and help us win some games" speech from the coach when the kid first gets onto campus. Instead, it's mostly recreational activities (cornhole, playing 2K on the Jumbotron, going up to the top of Neyland) and relationship-building stuff (hanging out with players, eating with coaches, etc). Then there's the namesake part of the event, which is literally what it sounds like - somewhere in the complex (probably the locker room), they roll out an orange carpet and have recruits stroll down it while a photographer snaps pictures. It's a big deal meant to make the kids feel important and wanted, and also a pretty cool idea from the recruiting staff.

Knowing the depth of detail to which Jones is involved with coming up with this stuff, I'd bet good money that he's using these different games and relationship-building exercises to build a psychological & personality profile that's included in the staff's evaluation of a prospect. Azzanni has mentioned in the past that they specifically recruit kids that will fit their locker room culture.

Hope that sheds a little light. Just some stuff I've picked up from various interviews and a few people I know in Knoxville.

OV, I think, said he's not that good. Just huge.
His technique isn't great right now, but his size/athleticism is beyond elite. Obviously one is a lot easier to fix than the other. Not a great player right now, but a great prospect

I'm pretty sure Olenga is a take and they would take Olenga over Clemons in a heartbeat.

Olenga situation is very similar to Mosely, they've probably seen more film on him than anybody, like Mosely last year
