Oregon band to play Rocky Top rumor (merged)

APPARENTLY to ask permission to play Rocky Top when USC comes out on the field. I'm not sure if this is a rumor or not, but I think it's awesome. I am a Chip Kelly fan and think it's awesome that he'd take a stab at Lame because well, he's just not a good person lol. TIFWIW, but I wouldn't be surprised if this did happen. GO DUCKS ON SATURDAY, and GO VOLS, BEAT SOUTH CAROLINA!!!

Cool....Maxx approves of this. I used to enjoy when the Florida State band played it to the Gators.

Even if it is true....I dont think UT would do that. Sends a message of bitterness and that we are unable to move on from the past. Hope Oregon wears them out.

Honestly this thread is the only place I've heard this, but it'd put a big smile on my face if they did it!!! And if it does actually happen, I hope it gets televised!

This game and tOSU Minnesota will be on abc so I imagine y'all will get it on Espn.

Looks like the majority of the country, Tennessee included, will get Oregon/USC on ABC.

What would be better is if the Oregon fans actually sang Rocky Top while it is being played. :shades:

He will get to see the Oregon game, everyone will. The games will mirror each other time wise between abc/espn. Whoever will have osu/minny on abc will have Oregon on espn and vice versa.

btw....sc has started to talk some smack, interesting they would do this. Also, Oregon has had a great week of practice and seem really focused. They need to be, the road is where they generally have problems.
